MMS Students at Music in the Parks Festival on June 4.
Nearly 400 students from the Darien Public Schools participated in the Music in the Parks Festival on Saturday, June 4. The Elementary Honors Band, Orchestra and Chorus Ensembles along with the MMS Camerata Singers, Grade 7&8 Orchestras and the MMS Honors Band from the Darien Public Schools participated in the annual festival held in Bristol, CT at Lake Compounce . The students performed for judges made up of university music professors and received ratings and comments about their performances. After the morning performances at a Bristol High School, the students enjoyed an afternoon at Lake Compounce. We would like to congratulate all of the young musicians and their teachers for their outstanding performances.
