The Middlesex Middle School Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. James Carter traveled to New York City on Wednesday, May 31. The students participated in a jazz clinic with world renown instructor Justin DiCioccio, performed their music in front of the fountain at Lincoln Center and attended the private closed door rehearsal of Wynton Marsalis’s Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra as they prepared for their upcoming concert. It was a very inspirational day for Mr. Carter and our Jazz Ensemble students!!
