The Darien High School Jazz ensemble will host their 3rd annual Jazz Festival on Friday, March 4.
The Darien High School Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Jonathan Grauer, will play host to elite high school bands from the area at the Darien High School Jazz Festival, Friday March 4th from 3:25 through 9:00 p.m.
After each of eleven area high school jazz bands performs, three eminent jazz adjudicators will conduct workshops and provide feedback to the students. To top off the event at 8:30 p.m. the Darien Jazz Ensemble will perform in collaboration with the festival judges and outstanding bands and soloists will be recognized. It promises to be an extraordinary event not only for jazz entertainment and music instruction. Audience members are welcome to watch any of the performances throughout the afternoon and evening and are particularly encouraged to support our Darien Jazz Ensemble.
