The Darien HS Jazz Ensemble was awarded 1st place at the Greenwich Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival on Saturday, March 19.
Congratulations to our Darien High School Jazz ensemble members who were awarded the overall “Outstanding Performance” and received a 1st place at the Greenwich Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival last Saturday, March 19.
Special “Outstanding Soloist” awards were also given to trumpet player Dominick Wood, trombonist Drake Corrigan, and alto saxophonist Doug Werner.
The DHS Jazz Ensemble is conducted by Mr. Jonathan Grauer.
