This prestigious event will take place on the world-famous Grand Ole Opry House stage in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 25-28.

Dominick Wood, currently a senior trumpet player at DHS, is a member of the Darien HS Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble, was chosen to perform in the All-National Band. Caroline Lacy, junior, and Drake Corrigan, senior, are members of the DHS Tudor Singers and will be members of the All-National Chorus. The National Association for Music Education All-National Honors Ensembles, consisting of a concert band, symphony orchestra, mixed chorus and jazz ensemble will feature the talents of 670 of the most musically talented and skilled high school students in the United States at this outstanding lifetime experience. The students will have the privilege of working with some of the most nationally recognized, prominent conductors.

Richard Sadlon, Director of Music for the Darien Public Schools states: “Caroline, Drake and Dominick have been an outstanding student leaders and contributors to our school band and choral programs for several years and their musical accomplishments have been outstanding. Participation in the All-National Ensembles is one of the highest levels of achievement for a high school music student and our entire community is extremely proud of their musical accomplishments.
